What started out as an April Fool’s joke on the social media platforms of renowned electric grinder manufacturer Option O turned out to be actual releases in waiting.
The Lagom 01 debuted last year for the first time at the Singapore Barista and Brewers Nationals during the Specialty Coffee & Tea show at our booth, turning heads with its 102mm monster burrs and innovative design overhaul. What else did they have up their sleeve?
Enter the Lagom Casa (signifying “family”), the fourth in line to the Option O lineup after the P64, Mini and the 01. And the inspiration behind the Casa?
From the Option O website, “We wanted a simple home coffee grinder that is reliable, with low retention, and produces delicious coffee effortlessly, all while looking great in our humble coffee corner. This is the grinder we wished existed back then.”
