The Single Coffee xPods has been carefully curated by The Coffee Folks SG team in conjunction with select coffee roasters in Singapore to provide the community with varieties of fresh brews on demand where the most uninitiated of users are able to enjoy high quality brews in the comforts of their homes. The xPods are a culmination of months of repeated coffee testing and recipe calibration, aimed at recreating a similar experience to having a cuppa on the coffeehouses premises.

The Morning Star Series represent the first of the several selections that The Coffee Folks SG team has worked with local roasters, and is positioned as a pour over coffee that would cater to a wide group of drinkers. The characteristics of the coffee are intended as bright, not overly complex, good body and overall a balanced cup. For first time partner roasters offering the xPods, we also wanted this to be a good representative cup of their vision for the roast and brew.

The Arctic Rush series is the second selection in the lineup and we reckon this may actually turn out to be more popular given the soaring temperatures in Singapore and the region throughout the year. Did you know that this particular series has truly helped to “break the ice” on drinkers coming onboard with the idea of filter coffee?

This series is primarily designated as an iced filter and brewed at a much tighter ratio but there’s no stopping you from taking advantage of the wide recipe libraries available on the xBloom app and brew it for a hot cup of filter coffee.

The Roasters Selection series is an entirely new series where we curate and procure coffee selection from some of the most popular coffeehouse and roasters here in Singapore. Currently, we have Nylon Coffee as one of the very first roasters ever onboarded on this series with more to come. With 13 years of running operations as a specialty coffee outfit with fans from Singapore and from afar, we are proud to feature them as one of the first roasters on the Roaster Selection series.

April xPods

April is upon us with returning roaster Nylon Coffee and first-time comers Bettr Coffee, an eclectic blend of social enterprise meets coffee and best known for the de facto institution for coffee certification courses in Singapore and the region.

We love the stories and the long-term relationships forged between Nylon Coffee and the producers they work with. It’s also because of the understanding of the terroire where the coffee is grown in and what shows up on the cupping table that eventually makes it halfway around the world (of course, passing the quality control duo of Dennis and Jiamin).

This month, they’ve chosen to highlight their subscription coffee – a fruity Brazilian coffee from Nossa Senhora Aparecida, Sao Paulo. We loved that explanation on Nylon Coffee’s own description outlier that really speaks for itself, “this coffee is a good example of how we feel that we should never stereotype coffees from any origins, just like this coffee which is tasting very fruity, in contrasts to what many might assume a coffee from Brazil to taste like.”

This coffee will make sure to get you rethink about what it means as a traditional Brazilian coffee. If this is what the future holds for coffees, sign us up for it any day.

Euphoria is the choice of coffee they’ve chosen to best represent and if we can best describe the cup, the Ethiopian florals meet the smoky, bold flavours of the Indonesian coffee. For those who’ve had this exact coffee on espresso before, you’ll be no stranger to it and we love the balance the blend brings while keeping it affordable and versatile enough to be used towards espresso as well. Grinding coarse and brewing tighter ratios would be the best bet in getting the best possible cup here.

A PDF invoice will be sent via text/email upon confirmation of payment on the same day. This invoice is to be used as Proof of Purchase for warranty or exchange claims purposes.

The Coffee Folks guarantees same-day delivery (if order is made and payment received before 3pm on a working day) or the next available working day delivery (if order is made and payment received after 3pm). Delivery will be made via local couriers at a stipulated time period (Morning/Afternoon).

Special arrangements during off-working hours can be arranged beforehand at an additional cost.

Local Warranty

The Coffee Folks warrants the Product against defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery of the purchase. This is for products which are purchased directly through our store.

We will cover the cost to repair or replace at our own discretion, any product that is found wanting or defective in workmanship or materials.

Please take note the following are not covered:

Modified Products
Third Party Damage incurred during shipping, drops, abuse, spills,
Inappropriate usage including commercial use on a home-designated item
Overtime wear and tear due to usage of item
Aesthetic blemishes when not affecting functionality of item

Please kindly take note that returns on products are applicable ONLY for items within 30 days of purchase and covered under the 1-year manufacturing warranty.
