With its rich amount of on-board features such as customisable pre-infusion timing and adjustable pump pressure, the Manu S HX E61 Espresso Machine is arguably unrivalled in the price to performance sub-2K category. Made in South Korea and utilising the heat exchange (HX) boiler system at its core and the universal E61 group-head, the Manu S is as the team at El Rocio would say, “the beginning of a real home cafe”.
With its small footprint of 28.7cm by 35.5cm, the Manu S will sit integrate comfortably and seamlessly into any home cafe counter top in either its black or white exterior. The 2.4L water tank capacity puts in the realm of higher-end espresso machines, minimizing the need to refill constantly and the 1500W max power draw combined with Eco Mode on the Manu S will prove gentle when the monthly electricity bills hit.
How does the Manu S stand above the rest of the competition at this price point? Honourable mentions go to its innovative feature of pump pressure profiling capabilities via the knob which allows you to adjust pump pressure real-time during the extraction profile phase which certainly helps in tapering off those bitter notes at the tailend of the extraction. In a very first we’ve seen on espresso machines, users now have an option to drain the boiler completely when not in use for long periods or to better help manage scale build-up overtime – a very useful feature when it comes to maintenance and upkeep.
The Manu S comes in the standard kit configuration as well as the more premium Pesado-kit upgrade option with a complimentary set of Pesado professional barista tools and outfittings. A PDF invoice will be sent via text/email upon confirmation of payment on the same day. This invoice is to be used as Proof of Purchase for warranty or exchange claims purposes.
The Coffee Folks guarantees same-day delivery (if order is made and payment received before 3pm on a working day) or the next available working day delivery (if order is made and payment received after 3pm). Delivery will be made via local couriers at a stipulated time period (Morning/Afternoon).
Special arrangements during off-working hours can be arranged beforehand at an additional cost.
Local Warranty
The Coffee Folks warrants the Product against defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery of the purchase. This is for products which are purchased directly through our store.
We will cover the cost to repair or replace at our own discretion, any product that is found wanting or defective in workmanship or materials.
Please take note the following are not covered:
- Modified Products
- Third Party Damage incurred during shipping, drops, abuse, spills,
- Inappropriate usage including commercial use on a home-designated item
- Overtime wear and tear due to usage of item
- Aesthetic blemishes when not affecting functionality of item

Return Policies
Please kindly take note that returns on products are applicable ONLY for items within 30 days of purchase and covered under the 1-year manufacturing warranty. Exchanges or warranty claims would be on a case-by-case basis and we highly recommend to keep the receipt and packaging complete to facilitate any exchanges.
