Maintenance & Cleaning
The EG-1 cleaning process is as easy as it comes. The grind chamber can be opened, thoroughly cleaned, and resealed in a matter of seconds. The top and bottom funnel caps form a clam shell grind chamber and are secured using sets of strong rare earth (Neodymium) magnets. The caps easily snap off the front of the unit, providing the barista complete and unobstructed access to the burr set and wiper system. The best part is that this deep cleaning doesn’t affect grind size adjustment or burr alignment.
The upper dosing dish has also been designed to be easily removed for cleaning. Held in place by a pair of Neodymium magnets and a set of stainless steel pins, the dish can be quickly removed from the grinder for a quick wipe down.
At the end of the shift, in the middle, or even when changing the beans, it’s fast and easy to clear the grinder of any lingering residue. Ease of cleaning offers more options for using multiples coffees in high volume environments or in other settings such as cupping rooms or roasting labs.

A PDF invoice will be sent via text/email upon confirmation of payment on the same day. This invoice is to be used as Proof of Purchase for warranty or exchange claims purposes.
The Coffee Folks guarantees same-day delivery (if order is made and payment received before 3pm on a working day) or the next available working day delivery (if order is made and payment received after 3pm). Delivery will be made via local couriers at a stipulated time period (Morning/Afternoon).
Special arrangements during off-working hours can be arranged beforehand at an additional cost.
Local Warranty
The Coffee Folks warrants the Product against defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery of the purchase. This is for products which are purchased directly through our store.
We will cover the cost to repair or replace at our own discretion, any product that is found wanting or defective in workmanship or materials.
Please take note the following are not covered:
- Modified Products
- Third Party Damage incurred during shipping, drops, abuse, spills,
- Inappropriate usage including commercial use on a home-designated item
- Overtime wear and tear due to usage of item
- Aesthetic blemishes when not affecting functionality of item

Returns
Return Policies
Please kindly take note that returns on products are applicable ONLY for items within 30 days of purchase and covered under the 1-year manufacturing warranty. Exchanges or warranty claims would be on a case-by-case basis and we highly recommend to keep the receipt and packaging complete to facilitate any exchanges.
